We LOVE that you love to visit us! ❤️
Our visitors are so good to us, exploring our natural resources, and frequenting all of amazing our local businesses. The St. Croix Valley area of St. Croix Falls, WI and Taylors Falls, MN has always been a place to “get-away” from it all and enjoy outdoor activity.
Even though the Safe(r) at Home order of both MN and WI recognizes outdoor activity as an essential activity (we do too!), the current recommendation from both the MN & WI DNR is to keep your travel activity to your local community.
If you are in our local community, please keep all of us safe by following the social distancing guidelines of remaining 6 feet away, washing your hands, and covering your face. Under these guidelines, we must do all that we can to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
We’re not gonna lie. We will miss you.
But here’s what we’re doing in the meantime.
This website has just been overhauled and is packed with tons of brand new information so you can plan an epic summer vacation. We’ve expanded our “Outdoor Adventure” section to include every trail in our area, and highlight new activities such as rock climbing, biking, motorcycle, and horseback riding. We’ve expanded our event section (yes, we will have events again!), and listed out just about everything there is to do around here. We’ve expanded our history section for the history buffs, so you learn all about our unique geology and architecture and find out more about the founding people of the area.
Watch for us to roll out some fun ways to interact with our social pages in the next couple of weeks. We don’t want to let out any secrets yet but have your camera roll and your brains ready.
We’re working on a current list of businesses that are offering curbside services & food pick-up, and will be here to answer questions for our local residents. Our local businesses have been working very hard at finding ways to continue to serve you, and we encourage you to support them as much as you are able.
As of now, all of our state parks in the region are open, despite the WI Governor-ordered closing of many WI state parks. Help us keep it that way by following the guidelines!
When the time is right, you will return to create a new chapters in our stories together, and we will again make amazing, year-round memories!
Be safe. Be kind.
